Why Give Blood?

My former Presentation Skills professor and television personality Liz West knows first hand the importance of donating blood, as she explains in this video


Through telling her very personal story, she is using the presentation skills she taught me and her public figure status to motivate people to save a life. Blood donations are down at this time of year.


Donating bone marrow is also very important, as I learned through my year as a Child Life volunteer in the Bone Marrow Transplant of The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
