A Good Pen

Do you write a lot? Are you prone to hand fatigue? Do you have pain or motor skill issues with your hands?

I recommend you try a Dr. Grip  pen. I have some mild motor, strength and pain issues with my hands because of some health issues, but they can be quite debilitating when I write a lot, which I tend to do, because I'm a writer.

I used a Dr. Grip pen in elementary school and high school to help me write for longer periods, more clearly and with less pain. For some reason, I didn't bother to get ink refills in high school and went eight years using regular pens. You know, because I'm so tough.

I bought a new Dr. Grip recently and while it doesn't completely solve my handwriting issues, it has improved things. I am handwriting more. I look forward to handwriting more. I write in more detail because the Dr. Grip gives me the stamina and comfort to do that. My callous from my awkward grip has softened.

If you have any physical issue that discourages you from handwriting, don't assume you can't do anything about it. You can try out a new pen, see your doctor, do some exercises. Explore your options. Don't let it stop you from writing. Don't let your handwriting issues control what you write or how you write.
