Federal Election - Addressing Socioeconomic Issues=investing in health of Canadians

Poverty and homelessness impact health and healthcare. Canada can do better to support those affected.

In preparation for the upcoming federal election, the great folks at the Canadian Association of Community Health Centres are calling upon all federal parties to address these social health issues by committing to taking these upstream actions and they need your help! Please sign these petitions and share them with your friends. It's a fast and easy way to make your voice heard.

  1. Poverty
  2. Housing
  3. Pharmacare
  4. Community Health Centre Access

Poverty costs our country roughly $25 billion a year in healthcare, judicial and social service costs. This doesn't make economic sense. Taking action on the social determinants of health means that we invest in our country and its citizens' health.

Let's not just treat people when they get sick. Let's help them stay well.
