Last month I told you about an intimate Feist concert I had won tickets to see. Well, now you can get a taste of what made it so great!
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) recently posted three songs from the show, which it held to celebrate its 75th birthday and support Feist's new album "Metals," on Youtube. I can't stop watching these. Feist is fantastic live. Enjoy!

Using Youtube to Promote Community Health Centres
I just put up a new blog post for the Association of Ontario Health Centres (I'm one of their communications interns) about Community Health Centres' and AOHC's work with Youtube. Stay tuned for more updates on my adventures!
I'm really curious: how has a Community Health Centre (or Center if you're in the U.S.) helped you? Personally, before I learned about my internship position, I had never used one. Didn't even know what they did. Now I see how important they are, especially with my background in social health issues. I think Youtube videos can raise awareness about Community Health Centres. What do you think?

Florence and the Machine, I'm speechless
I still can't stop playing Florence and the Machine's album "Lungs," a year and a half after I bought it. Florence has a huge, gorgeous voice. I fell in love with it and with Florence during a cold and patch of asthma. I admired her for celebrating her lung capacity and I wanted to sing along with her. The harp, drums and of course the lyrics on this album are all fantastic too. Death, love, it's all here.
I saw Florence live at the Kool Haus in Toronto a year ago and let me tell you: she sounds just as amazing live as she does on the album. Here's proof if you want it. This is my favourite live Florence performance of one of my favourite songs by her. Cosmic Love on David Letterman. Watch her face. She sees things. And as one Youtube commenter so brilliantly put it, "I can almost hear her smiling."
